We have a several outdoor seating areas with vast National Park Mountain views and privacy, yet close to all the destinations. “We were 2 families with kids and everyone enjoyed their stay. The property felt new and very clean. We spent one afternoon in the backyard playing and hanging in the jacuzzi then headed inside and played all the fun games they had plus did a bunch of puzzles." —Stephanie B E D R O O M S Sleep in on one of the best sleep systems around, with premium hybrid mattresses (Foam & Spring) in every bedroom and plenty of pillows. The master bedroom has a King bed with an ensuite bathroom with a rainfall shower. The 2nd guest room has a King bed, and shared bathroom in the hall with a rainfall shower (no bathtub.) The 3rd bedroom has 2 twin beds. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room. The entire house has shutters which can be closed for late sleeping. We have a brand new HVAC central air for heating and cooling, kindly turn off when leaving the house. There are nightlights in the hallway & primary bedroom with a motion sensor. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and plenty of charging options. O U R S T O R Y We always dreamed of owning a vacation home, and when we finally had the time and money to do it, we chose Joshua Tree. We love rock climbing and we are always happier after a visit to the National Park. We looked all over the High Desert because we wanted a true escape from the city, a place to relax and rejuvenate. The first time we saw this house, we had a good feeling & immediately felt the desert vibe. The views sold us and the potential to make this into a fun, family vacation home unfolded. We came regularly to fix it up and add all the things we have enjoyed at other Airbnb’s. No expense was spared making this house as comfortable as possible. We did our best to think of everything you’ll need. Please save our house as a favorite on Airbnb, as we plan to add a pool & detached game room / movie theater next year! You do not need a four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicle to get around in the high desert. However, please be prepared for the possibility of encountering bumpy roads, it's essential to drive at a slower pace and exercise caution. ✦ High chair & Pack & Play provided upon request ✦ Pool heating: If you would like to have the pool heated (85 degrees) during your stay, please let us know at least 48 hours before arrival. There will be a fee of $150 per day (two days minimum). ✦ Dogs ♡ Your dog is welcome and there is a one-time fee, Please add your dog to the reservation. Max of 2 dogs. Please cover the white sofa with the blankets provided. No other types of animals are authorized. ✦ Our Pool & hot tub maintenance occurs every Monday & Thursday morning and keeps the water crystal clean and in perfect condition for our guests. This quick service only takes 15 minutes. ✦ Our house is on a dirt road for the last .25 mile. Any car can access this road, please drive slowly to avoid rocks and bumps. This is all part of the desert experience! ✦ You are very likely to hear or see bunnies, desert squirrels, roadrunners, owls, and coyotes, Please keep doors closed. ✦ Please bring flip flops for walking around the house to the dome and fire pit as to not hurt your feet on rocks and the occasional cactus. ✦ All cactuses and Joshua Trees can be harmful to curious kids and dogs, please supervise and do not touch. ✦ Our neighbors are very sensitive to noise and lights after 10pm. No loud noises after 10pm ✦ Early check-in and late check-out available for $50/hr with prior approval and availability. ✦ Please note, the dome is not designed for professional stargazing. While you can see the stars from inside, the clearest view is outdoors.
